Canon EOS C300 Mark III is here and ready to rent!
Canon EOS R5
The Canon R5 represents the latest developments in a 35mm still and video system. It features in-body image stabilization (IBIS), has an amazing ISO range that’s similar to the 1DX Mark III but at roughly half the weight, and has built-in face, eye, and animal detection that helps you focus and track your subject.
The Canon R5 features:

The R5 has an In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) range from 6 stops to 8 stops, depending on the lens. Older Canon EF mount lenses will also benefit from IBIS, too!
It should come as no surprise that the R5 has an amazing ISO range of 100-51200 with an expandable low ISO of 50 and a high ISO of 102400 for still photo shooting. It’s similar to the 1DX mark 3 at about half the weight.
The R5 has built-in face, eye and animal detection that helps you focus and track your subject. Alongside these options are multiple settings that can help you fine tune to your specific needs.
High Speed Continuous Shooting
You’ll enjoy 12 FPS with the mechanical and 20 FPS with the electronic (silent) shutter
The R5 is capable of shooting 8K raw video recording at up to 29.97fps and can also record 4K at 120 FPS.
The R5 is completely electronic and that comes with a bit of sacrifice to the battery which is rated under 300 shots per charge. Battery life is dependent on screen brightness and whether or not you’re shooting long exposures or 8k video.
Overall, the canon R5 is a great step up if you’ve been looking to upgrade and are a casual video shooter. For dedicated video shooters looking to step up from a DSLR, check out the Canon C300 Mark III or Canon’s other cinema cameras.
We’ve also added dedicated Canon RF lenses for the R5.
