Aputure LED Lighting – It’s here and ready to rent!
If you’re looking for truly affordable and professional cinema equipment with the quality and functions needed to fully realize any creative vision, you’ll want to check out Aputure.
We have three lighting options to choose from:
Aputure LS 600-D w/Pro V-Mount
Every aspect of the LS 600d Pro was designed with professionals in mind, with incredible output, a weather-resistant construction, a wide variety of power options, and professional level lighting controls, including Sidus Link, Art-net, and Wireless DMX.
Equipped with its native Hyper-Reflector, the 600d Pro can output 8,500 lux at 3 meters (10 feet). With the F10 Fresnel modifier, the combination can reach an illuminance of 29,300 lux at 3 meters in 15° spot. With a maximum power draw of 720W, the 600d Pro is on par with industry-standard HMI lights.
The LS 600d Pro is the first Light Storm fixture, and the first Bowens Mount LED to feature a weather-resistant design. Using waterproof fans, sealed internal structures, rubber caps for all ports, and weatherproof connectors, the LS 600d Pro can withstand various inclement weather environments.
The 300x is the first Bowens Mount Bi-Color light to be compatible with lensed optical modifiers like the Fresnel 2X and Spotlight Mount. The 300x’s ability to use lensed optical modifiers allows its CCT flexibility to be enhanced even further, by being able to output over 56,000 lux at 1 meter with the Fresnel 2X.
The 300x is the first of many Aputure lights to utilize the expanded vari-white CCT range of 2700K-6500K, going beyond traditional bi-color.
The 300x outputs reliable color with CRI and TLCI scores of 96+, a tungsten SSI score of up to 85, and a D55 SSI score of up to 74, competing with industry giants.
The 300x also takes a note from the 300d II, by incorporating the same 360-degree adjustable handbrake locking yoke and silent, all-in-one control box design.
The Accent B7c 8-Light Kit is designed for indie-filmmakers, set lighting technicians, and rental houses, allowing users to simultaneously store, protect, and charge up to eight B7c battery-operated 7W RGBWW color-mixing LED light bulbs — enough lights to fill up an entire scene. A single plug can bring all the bulbs back to life.
The B7c is also the first bulb designed for filmmakers to have a built-in battery, powering the B7c for over 70 minutes at full power, and over 20 hours as it approaches minimum brightness.
The B7c 8-Light Kit comes in a custom compact hardshell charging case, made to handle the rigors of any film set. Featuring eight E27 lamp sockets, and a standard IEC AC Cable, users can elegantly charge their B7c bulbs hassle-free.
The Accent B7c matches the color temperature range of the Nova P300c, Aputure’s most advanced color mixing light, producing a wide color temperature range of 2,000K-10,000K. And when combined with Sidus Link’s SourceMatch feature, it can match nearly any white light source.
Features dual optical intensifying elements, a large 6” front Fresnel lens, improved ventilation, and the elimination of light leaks. The rear lens focuses and magnifies the beam onto the larger 6” front Fresnel lens, maximizing light utilization. Our dual lens optical design makes the Fresnel 2X twice as powerful as the original Aputure Fresnel, and makes it almost 10 times brighter than with the reflector.
The smooth focus throw gives users an ability to accurately finesse the beam angle of their light source, allowing you to easily spot or flood your light with a simple twist.
The 7” front ring also accepts the Aputure Barndoors. Includes carrying case.
The Light Dome II features a high quality diffusion fabric, a rapid build and breakdown system and an included honeycomb egg crate, and several more new additions. The 35″ Light Dome II uses 16 rods to create 32 points of axis, allowing an exceptionally round softbox that produces perfectly circular catchlights.
With the Lantern (spherical softbox) you can produce soft, even light wherever your shoots may take you. By utilizing a 36” spherical design, the Lantern spreads the light from your LED or Studio Strobe in all directions with a 270° beam angle. The fully adjustable/removable light control skirt can attach in any position, for quick and precise control.
Aputure provides a bright LED source that creates harsher shadows and is comparable to an HMI. The 600D is almost as bright as a joker at 800 HMI. The 300X is not as bright but is bi-color. The 600D is significantly brighter but is strictly a daylight LED. The bulbs are dimmable, daylight-tungsten variable, and capable.
They have plenty of accessory options to create the kind of light you need for your shoot. A fresnel attachment for harsher light or a Lightdome II softbox or lantern is available for a much softer source.
They can be powered with V-mount batteries and the bulbs charge in the case and can be run on battery power, making these all great options on location when you don’t have access to power.
All of the lights and bulbs can be accessed easily through the Aputure Sidus Link app, where you can dim the light and control color effects.
The B7c Bulb Kit makes replacing practical bulbs on set incredibly easy. And with complete color control through the app, you can dim it to whatever color and intensity you need for your scene. A must-have on any short-form or feature narrative work.
