ProGear will have guest speakers Ed Meyers, Technical Representative from Canon, Spook Bolt of Bolt Productions in Dallas, Texas and we welcome back Christopher Barrett, architectural and motion photographer, to give us their insights on the EOS-1D C. In addition, we will hear from Sound Devices, manufacturer of the PIX240i, ProGear's newest addition for your cine / video needs.
Presentations:
The portable PIX 240i is an essential companion for any production environment. It simplifies any production and post-production bringing edit-ready Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD recording to SD/HD-SDI or HDMI-equipped cameras.
Ed will give an overview on the EOS-1D C sensor and how it relates to the Canon 5DMII and 5DMIII, C100 and C300 cameras respectively. Learn what the buzz is about on the 4K sensor size and the it's resolution. Check out the Canon Cinema Lenses as well.
Spook is owner of Bolt Productions is Dallas, Texas with major clients in the industry. Hear what Spook has to say about his neck of the woods and how his local photographers, techs, assistants and more importantly...the clients are reacting to the newest industry standard.

We welcome back Chris and his talents to ProGear as a guest speaker. Chris has shot various situations with the 1D C showing hi ISO, 4K, Super 35mm and different recording speeds. During his presentation we will grab some random frames from the 1D C through Adobe Premiere and print them to Canon's Pixma printer, all on the fly. Witness first hand the hi-quality print from a 4K recording.
