Peter Biasotti

Peter has lived in Chicago since 1988 when he moved here from NY to become VP of Sales at a major photo company. He has been involved in professional retail sales and service since 1979 and in the photography industry since 1974. Over the years he has had many different roles from owning a retail store in NYC to developing and running the on the road sales division known as CDS.

During his years in the industry he became very interested in the equipment rental business and worked to develop this business across the US. Peter brings a good sense of the service and knowledge that is needed to run a rental business well. Peter and our other team members look forward to serving you in the future.

Steve LaMonica

Steve is a life long Chicagoan. He has dedicated more than 25 years to the art and science of photography. As a commercial studio owner for 18 years, he enjoyed assignments for companies like IBM, Kodak, Honda, Ace Hardware and many more. In 2000, he accepted a position catering to the professional photographer with sales, tech support and training. Now with ProGear, he hopes his years of experience as a photographer, studio manager and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service can benefit all of your photographic needs, from equipment and studio rental to sales.

Doug Sperling

Doug has been in the digital business since the beginning of the professional market back in 1990. He has a major in Photography as well as a degree in print reproduction from Florida A & M University. To date, Doug has been a professional commercial photographer, worked in the pre-press industry for a number of years, still sits as an advisor for two university boards and recently left an 11 year position as the head of technical support and training for a major Chicago based retailer. During his tenure he has taught at several universities, conducted numerous workshops on color management and workflow, as well as supported all facets of capture, display and output devices.

Spook Bolt

Spook is the owner and operator of Bolt Productions, a full service photo studio facility in Dallas, TX. Starting his career over 16 years ago as a commercial photograher, Spook was an early advocate of digital photographic technology in the mid 1990's. Since then, Bolt Productions has grown to service clients all over the Southwest. After creating the first of its kind full service photography studio in Dallas, Spook now hopes to bring to Chicago the same high level of service with ProGear.
